A Teen’s View

Hey, what’s up everyone? My name is Kirstin and I have type 1 diabetes. However, diabetes does not describe me. I’m 13 and in 8th grade. I participate in all the sports and activities at available at my school. Including, volleyball, basketball, track, softball, cheerleading. Plus, KAY (Kansas Association of Youth), and Stuco. I have so many interests. I love movies (all kinds.) And, of course, I love hanging out with my friends.

My family created this website to help others who face the challenges of diabetes. We’ve been through it. I’ve had diabetes since I was three. I plan to write some more articles. If there are topics you would like to see, send me a message!! Come back and visit often!
